Obverse description Diademed bare-headed bust of Artabanus II facing left, rendered in the Hellenistic tradition, with a short straight beard and hair shown in parallel wavy locks. The diadem ties are visible behind the neck. The portrait displays the characteristic flat, stylized treatment typical of late Parthian bronze coinage struck at Ecbatana.
