| Obverse description | Draped bust of Artemis facing right, wearing a stephane, with a bow and quiver visible at her shoulder. The portrait is rendered in the Hellenistic style characteristic of Seleucid bronzes, with fine facial detail now largely obscured by heavy patination and surface corrosion. The serrated flan edge is clearly visible, a distinctive feature of this series. The field surrounding the effigy is plain and unlettered. |
