| Obverse description | Draped bust of a deity or civic figure facing right, rendered in the Hellenistic style characteristic of late Republican-era Ionian civic coinage. The head appears turreted or wreathed, consistent with representations of Tyche or a local goddess associated with Smyrna. The flan is irregular and somewhat worn, with the bust occupying the central field. A small perforation is visible near the upper edge of the coin, suggesting later use as a pendant. The flat relief and compact flan are typical of small-denomination bronze issues from this period. |
