Obverse description Radiate head of Antiochos IV Epiphanes facing right, wearing a radiate crown with prominent rays emanating from the diadem, rendered in the Hellenistic portrait tradition. The facial features display a stylized profile with a well-defined eye, nose, and lips characteristic of Seleucid bronze coinage of the mid-second century BC. The flan is irregular and slightly convex, as typical of hammered bronze issues from the eastern mints. No legend appears on the obverse.
