Reverse description Eagle standing right with wings closed, depicted in profile with careful attention to plumage detail. The ethnic inscription F-A (digamma-alpha, abbreviating the name of the Eleans) appears in the field on either side of the eagle, with the letter Δ positioned below the bird. The entire design is encircled by an olive wreath, a fitting emblem of the sanctuary at Olympia. The composition is well-centred within the wreath border.
