Obverse description Head of Athena facing right, wearing a Attic helmet adorned with a prominent crest and cheek guards, rendered in a competent but provincial style characteristic of Boeotian bronze coinage. The facial features are boldly modeled with a strong profile, the helmet covering most of the skull. The flan is irregular and the surfaces show the typical dark patina of excavated Boeotian bronzes.
