| Reverse description | A date palm tree rendered in stylized form occupies the central field, with fronds spreading symmetrically to either side and a straight trunk rising from the base. The ethnic inscription of Tiryns appears divided on either side of the trunk in Greek characters, referencing the city of Tiryns with which Halieis had close ties. The design is bold and schematic, consistent with small Peloponnesian bronze issues of the mid-fourth century BC. |
