| Obverse description | Head of a youthful male deity, likely Apollo or a local hero, facing right in profile, rendered in low relief in the archaic-to-early classical Thessalian style. The hair is depicted in short, rounded locks pulled back from the brow. The facial features are broad and simply modeled, characteristic of early Greek bronze coinage from Thessaly. The flan is irregular and the surfaces show typical patination of ancient bronze. No inscription appears on the obverse. |

| Reverse description | A male figure, likely Philoctetes or a warrior hero associated with Lamia, depicted kneeling or crouching to the right, rendered in a compact, energetic posture. The figure appears to hold a bow or spear, consistent with the heroic iconography common to Thessalian civic bronze coinage of the early fourth century BC. The Greek legend ΛΑΜΙΕΩΝ (of the Lamians) appears in the field, partially distributed on either side of the figure. The die work is bold but somewhat roughly executed, typical of early Thessalian municipal bronze issues. |
