Obverse description Laureate head of Zeus facing left, rendered in bold archaic-influenced style with a full flowing beard and deeply engraved hair drawn back beneath the laurel wreath. The portrait occupies most of the flan with strong, expressive modelling typical of Thessalian bronze coinage of the mid-4th century BC. A thunderbolt symbol is placed in the left field behind the head, serving as a divine attribute reinforcing the deity's identity.
