Obverse description Draped and cuirassed bust of Emperor Constantius II facing right, adorned with a pearl diadem, rendered in the late Roman imperial portrait style. The obverse legend D N CONSTAN-TIVS P F AVG (Dominus Noster Constantius Pius Felix Augustus) encircles the effigy. The control mark letter A appears in the left field behind the bust, denoting the first officina of the Siscia mint. The portrait exhibits the elongated, stylized features characteristic of mid-4th century imperial coinage.
