Reverse description Two seated allegorical female figures flank a central cartouche-style shield in high relief: the figure at left holds a caduceus and leans on a chest, while the figure at right holds a hammer and rests against a domed structure. Above the group, at the top of the field, appears the laureate profile bust of Napoleon Bonaparte facing right. The dates in Roman numerals and the designer's name appear in the lower exergue, with the legend arcing around the border.
