Obverse description
On the obverse of the medal, in the central part, there is a relief image of the monument `Motherland` of the Piskarevskoye Memorial Cemetery against the background of the Eternal Flame. In the lower part - an image of a memorial plaque installed at the Mint in memory of the plant workers who died at the front and during the siege of Leningrad during the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945. The images of the monument and the memorial plaque are framed by the St. George`s ribbon in the form of a five-pointed star. To the left and right of the star are color images of the Peter and Paul Cathedral and the Flag Tower of the Naryshkin Bastion. In the upper part of the token, above the star - relief images of coins and medals produced at the St. Petersburg Mint of Goznak in 2015 and dedicated to the Victory in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945. On the right side of the token, on the raster element, there are images of the Mint trademark “SPMD” and the number “291”, visible alternately when changing the viewing angle.
