Reverse description The reverse depicts a central scene of Sol Invictus (the sun god) driving a two-horse chariot (biga) in high relief, with rays emanating behind the figure. Surrounding the central medallion is an inner ring bearing the dates of the four seasons in Fraktur script, and an outer ring divided into twelve segments each containing the relief figure of a zodiac sign. The engraver's name J. PRINZ appears below the central scene.
