Reverse description A seated lion facing right occupies the center of the field in high relief, rendered with strong naturalistic detail. To the left and right of the lion, a poetic German inscription in multiple lines fills the field; in the lower exergue, a dedicatory inscription to the widows and orphans of K.u.K. Infantry Regiment No. 99 with the date 1915. The engraver's signature A.GRATH appears at the lower left.
