Reverse description An androcephalous horse — a horse bearing a human head — galloping to the right, rendered in a stylized Celtic manner. A bird, possibly a raven or crow, is perched upon the horse's croup, a motif frequently encountered in Gaulish coinage of the Parisian region. Between the forelegs of the horse, two pointed ringlets (annulets) are placed vertically in the field, echoing the decorative elements found on the obverse. The overall composition is dynamic yet abstract, consistent with the La Tène artistic idiom.
