Obverse description Stylised Celtic male head facing right, rendered in the characteristic curvilinear La Tène artistic tradition. The hair is depicted as a series of bold raised pellets and flowing sinuous lines fanning outward from the crown in a fan- or leaf-like arrangement. The facial features are schematically rendered, with a prominent circular eye, a strongly defined nose, and a squared jaw. Pellets and ring-and-dot motifs fill the field around the head, serving as decorative elements typical of late British Iron Age coinage. The flan is irregular in outline, consistent with hand-struck Celtic bronze production.
