Obverse description A Maltese-style bronze cross with flared arms and a suspension loop at the top. The central field features a circular design enclosed by a wreath of laurel, bearing crossed oars over a decorative floral motif, surrounded by the legend 'ROYAL LIFE SAVING SOCIETY' in raised relief. The word 'BRONZE' appears in the upper arm and 'CROSS' in the lower arm of the cross.
