Obverse description A bull charging to the right, depicted in profile with lowered head in aggressive butting posture, rendered in the vigorous naturalistic style characteristic of Hellenistic Mysian coinage. The animal stands upon a straight exergue line that divides the lower field. The flan is irregularly shaped and the surfaces show significant patination consistent with ancient bronze coinage of this period.
