| Obverse description | Facing head of a young deity — most likely Apollo or Borysthenes — depicted full-face in archaic Greek style, with wavy hair rendered in parallel ridges framing the face and falling to either side. The facial features are boldly modelled with large almond-shaped eyes, a broad nose, and slightly parted lips. The neck is indicated by a series of horizontal grooves suggesting a torque or collar. The design occupies the entire flan with no surrounding legend or inscription, characteristic of early Olbian bronze coinage. |

| Reverse description | An eagle displayed in profile to the left, wings spread and partially raised, perched atop a dolphin lying horizontally — both emblems being the principal civic types of Olbia. The eagle's plumage is rendered with carefully incised feather lines across the wings and body. A branch or linear groundline element appears beneath the dolphin. The ethnic inscription OΛBIH is placed in the upper field, reading from left to right in archaic Greek letters. |
