Obverse description A stylised boar advancing to the right occupies the central field, rendered in the schematic Celtic artistic tradition with exaggerated bristles along the spine. The Latin inscription EPI appears above the figure, identifying the issuing authority as Eppillus. The design elements are boldly struck in low relief on the irregular flan, characteristic of late Iron Age British bronze coinage.
