| Reverse description | A long cross with fleur-de-lis terminals extends to the inner circle, dividing the legend at the base (6 o'clock position) where two small saltires flank the foot of the cross. The four quadrants created by the cross arms are plain. The circumferential legend in uncial Gothic script is contained within a beaded inner border, with the full inscription reading the ruler's name and title. The overall design follows the standard medieval bourgeois type of the Low Countries. |
