| Obverse description | Within a beaded inner circle, a central rosette occupies the field, surrounded by the concluding portion of the obverse legend distributed around the periphery. A small shield bearing the city arms of Pesaro appears at the top of the inner circle. The design is characteristic of the hammered coinage of the Sforza lordship, with lettering rendered in late medieval uncial style. |
