| Reverse description | Central field displays a bold ornate cross pattée within a circle, dividing the inner field into four quadrants. The circular legend surrounding the cross reads DOMINI · EST · REGNVM followed by the date, affirming the biblical motto 'The kingdom is the Lord's.' The outer border of the reverse is defined by a beaded or toothed rim, consistent with the small hammered billon coinage of the city of Chur throughout the seventeenth century. |

The Bluzger was a small billon denomination struck by the city of Chur in the Graubünden region of what is now eastern Switzerland, during a period when the city retained the right to strike its own coinage despite being nominally subject to both episcopal and cantonal pressures. Chur's mint operated intermittently across the seventeenth century, and the long date range on this type reflects reuse of dies and sporadic production rather than continuous output.
HMZ 1#2-494 distinguishes multiple die variants within the series.
