Reverse description Central field features an elaborate Gothic castle of three towers, the tallest centrally placed and flanked by two slightly lower turrets, all rendered with architectural detail including battlements and arched gateways. A small letter S, the Seville mint mark, appears in the lower field beneath the castle. The surrounding circular Latin legend reads ENRICVS DEI GRACIA CAS REX S, partially legible through surface wear. A beaded or rope inner border frames the central device, consistent with hammered billon coinage of Enrique III's reign.
