Obverse description Central field bears the crowned arms of France — three fleurs-de-lis arranged 2-1 on a shield — surmounted by a royal crown with five visible points. The shield is set within a plain inner circle, with the field otherwise flat and unadorned. The surrounding legend, rendered in Gothic uncial characters, is notably doubled, reading the full royal title twice around the circumference. A beaded inner border and a toothed outer border frame the design, typical of late medieval French hammered billon coinage.

Reverse description A bold floriated cross pattee occupies the central field, its four arms extending to an inner circle. In the angles of the cross appear alternating heraldic motifs: a fleur-de-lis in the first quarter and a small crown in the third quarter, with additional decorative elements in the remaining quarters, consistent with the Blanc au couronne type of Louis XI. The circumferential legend in Gothic uncial script reads the full royal title, enclosed between a beaded inner border and a toothed outer rim characteristic of hammered French medieval coinage.
