Reverse description A plain cross with fleurs-de-lis in two opposing quarters and crowns in the remaining two quarters, all contained within a quatrefoil frame; rosettes decorate the spandrels between the lobes of the quatrefoil. The design is enclosed within a double inner circle, with the circular legend occupying the space between the inner and outer beaded borders. The letter P, denoting the Perpignan mint, appears at the end of the legend.
