| Reverse description | A bold Latin cross divides the inner circle into four quarters, with two fleurs-de-lis and two crowns alternating in the angles, all contained within a raised quatrefoil frame. The cross ends are plain and the design is characteristic of the late Valois blanc au couronne type. A beaded inner border separates the central device from the surrounding uncial legend SIT nOmEn DnI BEnEDICTV, which runs continuously around the coin. The overall composition reflects the standard late 15th-century French royal hammered coinage style. |
