| Reverse description | Central design features a large floriated or pattée cross dividing the field into four quarters, each containing a fleur-de-lis or decorative foliate element, characteristic of the Bourbon monetary tradition. The initials P and A, referencing Peter and his consort Anna of France, appear in two of the quarters flanking the cross. The circumferential legend runs along the outer border, separated by stops, encircling the entire reverse field. The coin exhibits the flat, slightly uneven strike typical of hammered silver blancs of the late 15th century. The flan edges are ragged and irregular, consistent with hand-cut planchets of the period. |
