Obverse description Central field occupied by a quartered royal shield of France and Dauphiné, divided by a plain cross, with fleurs-de-lis in the upper-left and lower-right quarters and dolphins in the upper-right and lower-left quarters. The shield is surmounted by a crowned fleur-de-lis. The entire device is enclosed within a beaded inner circle, with the circular Latin legend running along the outer periphery of the coin.

Reverse description Central field features a floriated cross with a fleur-de-lis in each of the four angles formed by the arms, set within a beaded inner circle.
