| Obverse description | Diademed bust of the Alchon ruler facing right, exhibiting the characteristic artificially elongated cranium associated with Hunnic elite practices. The effigy is rendered in regal attire with a distinctive crown surmounted by a bull's head device. The king is adorned with pendant earrings and a pearl necklace, with a double garment flap rising behind the shoulder and a mace depicted in the field before the bust. The portrait is contained within a dotted border typical of late Sasanian-influenced coinage of the region. |
