Obverse description Struck on an irregular flan typical of hammered coinage, the obverse bears a multi-line Arabic legend arranged in two registers separated by a horizontal line, presenting the name and titles of the ruling khan. The field displays the inscription identifying the ruler as Khan Sa'adat Giray ibn Qirim Giray, rendered in flowing Naskh-style Arabic script. The planchet shows characteristic irregular edges and surface roughness consistent with hand-struck Crimean Khanate coinage of the late 17th century.
