| Obverse description | The obverse features a central text block in relief with the legend of the 38th Berg- und Hüttenmännischer Tag event, dated 16–19 June 1987 at the Bergakademie Freiberg. Above the text, two mining symbols (crossed hammers and a combined mining tool mark) are displayed in relief, and the Meissen crossed-swords mark appears below the legend. A suspension hole is present at the top of the round porcelain plaque. |
