| Obverse description | Highly detailed allegorical scene in high relief depicting two standing figures beneath a large oak tree: at left, a robed and bearded druid holding a staff, and at right, a warrior figure clad in animal skin and bearing a decorated shield. Between them lie various symbolic objects including a caduceus, a wheel, and ritual implements, with a view of Stonehenge in the middle ground and an all-seeing eye radiating light above. In the lower field, a central shield inscribed INTEGRITAS PRO RUPE NOBIS flanked by two circular medallions, all surmounted by Druidic symbols. The legend THE ORDER OF DRUIDS runs along the upper border, with P . D . G . M . along the lower border, the whole framed by an oak and laurel wreath. |
