Reverse description The Arms of Glasgow displayed centrally within an ornate cartouche, supported by two fish and surmounted by a crest, with the motto LET GLASGOW FLOURISH on a scroll below the shield. A blank recipient scroll appears beneath the arms, flanked by thistle sprigs at the base. The surrounding legend reads EAST END INDUSTRY EXHIBITION around the upper arc and SCIENCE · ART around the sides, with GLASGOW · 1890-91 along the lower arc. The reverse appears to be die-struck in mirror orientation relative to the obverse.
