Obverse description Bare-headed bust of Edward VII in right profile, set within a Tudor rose roundel at centre, enclosed by a crowned wheel motif. The central device is framed by a laurel and oak wreath, held aloft at the base by a winged figure of Mercury in high relief. The circular legend 'THE ROYAL AUTOMOBILE CLUB' runs around the upper periphery within a reeded border.
