Reverse description The reverse features a raised oak wreath encircling an engraved recipient inscription in the field. The society's name appears as a struck legend around the periphery. The engraved text records the award to Jas. Horsman, who risked his own life to save another's in the Hamoaze on 26th February 1845, signed by P.E. Lyne, Mayor President, and H. Perry Esq., Honorary Secretary.
