| Obverse description | Large bust of Wilhelm II, King of Württemberg, facing right in high relief, occupying the upper portion of the plaquette, with the engraver's signature 'M. v. Hugo 1909' visible below the truncation. A horizontal band below bears the legend 'WILHELM.KÖNIG von WÜRTTEMBERG', beneath which two putti flank a central cartouche with a dedicatory inscription and a garland, and a date band reading '1860 - 27 Nov - 1910' appears at the bottom. The ornate border imitates a picture frame with repeating leaf motifs. |
