The maker's name VAUGHTONS BIRM appears in the exergue. The legend curves around the upper field.

Reverse description An allegorical winged female figure strides left in the upper portion of the field, blowing a long trumpet skyward, with a panoramic view of the exhibition buildings at Shepherd's Bush rendered in detailed relief behind her. Two putti appear in the lower field flanking a ribbon cartouche bearing the engraved recipient's name. The inscription appears at left in the field.
