To her left lie symbols of seafaring and the military including a cannon, cannonballs, and an anchor, while to her right appear emblems of the arts and sciences including a harp, palette, and caduceus; a shield bearing the Hanoverian white horse device rests against her side. The legend arcs across the upper field, with the date in Roman numerals in the exergue.
