Reverse description The reverse bears entirely engraved and struck text across the field in multiple lines, naming the recipient Alexander Marsden and recording the award of the medal by the Historical Society in the University of Dublin for his poem read on Wednesday the 6th of February 1782. A Latin motto arcs around the upper periphery.
