Obverse description Central field features a heraldic shield divided per pale: the dexter side bearing a saltire with four cross-pattée fitchée and one central cross, the sinister side depicting three castles with flames above battlements. An open Holy Bible surmounts the shield on a wreath, and two scrolling ribbon banners flank the composition bearing the motto legend. The maker's initials J.W. appear in the lower exergue.
