Reverse description Elaborate devotional scene in high relief depicting the crowned Virgin and Child enthroned at centre beneath an architectural canopy with a scrolled legend above; to the left stands a haloed saint holding a lily, and to the right a bishop in full vestments with mitre and crozier; two kneeling supplicant figures are shown in the foreground, one in prayer and one reading. A Latin inscription in the lower exergue completes the composition.
