Reverse description A large, finely rendered oak wreath occupies the entire reverse field, its leaves tied at the base with a prominent bow. Within the wreath, the abbreviation AVG is inscribed in large, bold letters across the centre, with the mint identifier EPH (for Ephesus) positioned immediately below. A small pellet appears at the top of the wreath. The design is enclosed within a beaded border and executed in a crisp, high-relief hammered style typical of the Ephesian provincial mint.
