Obverse description Male equestrian figure in high relief facing left, left hand raised and right arm outstretched, possibly bearing a falcon; the central device is enclosed within a double beaded border containing a circumscribed legend in an archaic Brahmi-derived script. The thin hammered gold disc bears small pierced holes along the outer edge, consistent with use as a sewn applique.
