| Obverse description | Laureate head of Vespasian facing right, rendered in bold high relief characteristic of early Flavian coinage. The emperor's portrait displays his well-known physiognomic traits — a broad, fleshy face, strong jaw, and closely cropped hair beneath a laurel wreath with ties visible at the nape. The bust is bare-shouldered and truncated at the base. The encircling legend IMP CAESAR VESPASIANVS AVG runs clockwise around the field, bordered by a beaded inner rim. |
