Reverse description Draped bust of Diva Domitilla Major facing right, rendered in the elegant Flavian court style. The hair is elaborately dressed with curls massed atop the crown of the head and a characteristic long plaited tress descending behind the neck onto the shoulder — a distinctive feature of Flavian female portraiture. The drapery is rendered in fine folds over the shoulder and chest. The plain field is enclosed by a continuous dotted bead rim, with the circular Latin legend distributed around the periphery.
