Reverse description Fortuna (or a Fortuna-like personification) depicted draped and standing left, holding a rudder in her extended right hand and a cornucopiae in her left hand, emblems of providence and abundance. The figure is rendered in the classical style consistent with eastern Roman imperial workshops of the mid-third century. The reverse legend, distributed in the field around the standing figure, proclaims imperial fecundity. The composition and iconography reflect standard Roman imperial allegorical convention adapted for the usurper's legitimizing coinage.
