| Reverse description | Emperor Trajan depicted standing erect within a quadriga advancing to the left, holding an olive branch in his right hand and a sceptre in his left, the composition evoking a triumphal procession. The four horses are shown in vigorous motion, rendered in compact but expressive relief. The elaborately decorated chariot body is visible beneath the emperor's figure. The reverse legend is distributed across the upper field in two abbreviated groups flanking the central design.
