Obverse description Laureate bust of Emperor Trajan facing right, with short hair rendered in fine detail beneath the laurel wreath, the neck truncation bare. The effigy is modelled with confident naturalism characteristic of early Trajanic portraiture. A beaded border encircles the field. The encircling legend reads from lower left around the obverse.
