| Obverse description | Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Emperor Trajan facing left, rendered with fine portrait detail characteristic of Trajanic imperial coinage. The emperor's hair is depicted in layered, tightly curled locks beneath the laurel wreath, with the ribbon ties of the wreath visible at the nape.
